Sentinel (milbemycin oxime and lufeneron) is a product that combines the parasiticidal effects of Interceptor (milbemycin oxime) and insect development inhibitory effects of Program (lufeneron). This product is used once a month in dogs to prevent heartworm and control disease caused by roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms, as well as block the development of flea eggs into adult fleas. This product can be used in puppies over 6 weeks of age. Your veterinarian will guide you in integrating this product as part of a comprehensive parasite control program.
